Come along and enjoy beautiful scenery and some lovely pub grub at our very first Simply Netwalking!
Starting at Queens Park Car Park (Heywood, Rochdale) take in part of Naden Brook through a wooded area of Ashworth Valley, skirt around Greenbooth Reservoir, then to the top of Knowle Hill for stunning 360 views, before dropping back down through Ashworth Valley, ending with some delicious pub grub. The walk is approximately 10 miles with an elevation of around 1200 feet. It will take around 4.5 hours which includes breaks to admire the scenery. With a 12.20pm meeting time it’s a 12.30pm prompt start. The food is booked for 5.30pm (see choices on booking form.)
With only 15 places available, it is one person per business sector so you get to lock out your competition. It costs just £21.50 per place. There is free car parking.
